Head of Marketing and Sales, Macquarie Banking and Financial Services
Craig Griffin is the Head of Marketing and Sales for Macquarie’s Banking and Financial Services division (BFS).
With 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, consulting and working with leadership teams to drive change, Craig has a wealth of experience in leading change and transformation in growth businesses around the world.
Craig is now responsible for leading sales and marketing in a rapidly changing business environment focused on growing market share through direct and intermediated channels. His team recently launched Macquarie’s branding and advertising campaigns, and his accountabilities include sales performance, performance marketing, brand and client communications across business, wealth and personal banking.
Before joining Macquarie, Craig was Founder and Managing Director of Team Performance Advisory, a strategic consultancy working with teams in financial and professional services organisations around the world, and from 2001–2013 he was a Managing Partner at Ernst & Young and sat on EY’s Financial Services Office Global Executive team.
Craig holds a Bachelor of Education and Master of Education and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts Australia. Earlier in his career, Craig established and sold his own management consulting business which specialised in sales and marketing and high-performing top teams.
In his downtime, Craig enjoys surfing, skiing and spending time with his two children.
