Tim Tez joined MetLife Australia as Chief Product & Marketing Officer on 1 December 2014. In this role he is responsible for the strategic delivery of capabilities in digital, data analytics and marketing, as well as driving a truly customer centric product design process.
Tim has over 15 years of experience in the life insurance industry with an extensive background across strategy, distribution, product, marketing and business development. He previously worked for AIA where he served as Chief Marketing Officer, led the product, business development, pricing and marketing teams, and was responsible for the successful launch of AIA Vitality into Australia. Prior to AIA, Tim was Head of Individual Life for AXA Australia where he successfully repositioned the AXA insurance offer and launched products that helped double the AXA business. Tim has also worked in senior positions for TAL and Prefsure Life.
Tim has an MBA (Exec) from the Australian Graduate School of Management, a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from Finsia and a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics and Marketing) from Sydney University.
