Sian Chadwick is the Vice President of Merchant Marketing and Business Insights for American Express in the Asia-Pacific region. She is responsible for all merchant-facing and network-wide communications, as well as digital and social merchant-marketing platforms at American Express. In addition, Sian also oversees American Express Business Insights; the company’s merchant consulting and data analytics business.
Sian has been with American Express for 14 years, where she has a history of successfully introducing new marketing programmes, and digital capabilities and processes into American Express. She began with the company as a senior manager with the American Express Digital team. Sian was then promoted to Director of Digital Acquisition and subsequently Vice President of Digital Marketing for the international card business.
Most recently, Sian was the Vice President of American Express’ charge card, new product development, and flagship Membership Rewards programs in the United Kingdom. In this capacity she managed new card acquisition and customer engagement efforts across the company’s most premium product portfolios; Gold, Platinum, and Centurion Cards.
