Ben is the Chief Customer Officer of Scottish Pacific, the largest specialist provider of working capital in Australia and New Zealand. Joining the company after its recent IPO, he was hired to drive the customer growth strategy and digital transformation, with responsibility for Marketing, Product Development, Customer Experience, Research and Analytics, and Digital Channels.
Ben has had gained a broad range of experience in his 18 year career, working across the breadth of marketing disciplines for some of Australia’s biggest brands
Prior to Scottish Pacific, he led Brand Marketing and Strategy for Telstra, as GM of Brand Strategy and Marketing. There he was responsible for developing their current brand strategy and the recent repositioning of the brand, as well as guiding the brand as they diversified into adjacencies and grew footprint internationally. In Ben’s 3 years at Telstra, it became the most valuable brand in the country, rising in value by over 20%
Ben was also the Head of Marketing for Corporate, Institutional, Global Markets, and the Private bank at Commonwealth Bank, Managing Director of the SaaS MRM platform, Simple, and has held various, Marketing, Brand and Product roles at Caltex and IAG.
